INFO2120/INFO2820 - Database Systems 1 - is a unit suited for students focussed on IT (both in CS and IS streams), and it is also aimed at non-majors who want to learn a valuable set of skills in dealing with large amounts of valuable data.

The lectures take place on Mondays, 9:00am - 11:00am, in the Eastern Avenue Lecture Theatre (level 2) and on Tuesdays, 1pm, in Carslaw Lecture Thatre CAR 159 starting on 2 March 2009.

The tutorials start a week later, on 9 March 2009. They will take place Mondays and Tuesdays in the School of IT Laboratories.

Remember: Final Exam tomorrow (MONDAY, 22 June) at 3PM in MacLaurin Hall! (Please verify in your MyUni portal and check also your seat number there - the examination office runs this exam, not me, so no guarantee from my side on any scheduling information!)
Furthermore: Assignment marks have been published and submissions returned in WebCT. And the advanced class slides are now completely available both here and in WebCT.

The UoS review slides are now online. This was the last lecture today - there will be no Tuesday lecture tomorrow, but we run the tutorials still this week to discuss assignment and example exam questions.
