The School of Information Technologies is working to foster relationships with schools, teachers and school students around NSW, and Australia.
Below is a summary of the activities the School of Information Technologies at the University of Sydney will be running for high school students and teachers in 2008.

Girls Programming Network (*NEW*) |

For academically-strong female students in Year 10-12 (and possibly Year 9). |

Tuesday 15th July 2008, 10.00am-6.00pm (Kick-off day) |

$55 per student per term (kickoff + 5 meetings per school term). |

Who: |
High school teachers who want to learn to program in Python |

High school teachers who completed our beginners course or already know some Python |

TeachPython (Beginners) and TeachPython (Advanced) can be booked together at the reduced rate of $500. |

The NCSS Challenge runs for 5 weeks, commencing on Monday 28th July 2008. |
